Finding the Retirement
Path for You
Retirement coaches are usually sought by people ahead of retirement, or by those in retirement who are struggling with the transition
The purpose of coaching is not to "tell" you how to manage the transition, but to facilitate focus and reflection so you can identify your own priorities, drivers and fears (or dreams) associated with leaving work
Once your own ideal retirement has been nailed down, you can work on the solutions needed to get you on the right path
A coach can act as a confidante or sounding board. But they would not judge you as a friend might do. They can also act as a cheerleader, mentor or supporter
For my main coaching programs I use a specific textbook or workbook, depending on your individual circumstances
For the 'couples retirement workshop' I use a particular method I have been trained in, designed to facilitate group decision-making, called the ToP (Technology of Participation)® Consensus Workshop
